Arrowhead Environmental Education Center
Arrowhead is located at the Wildlife Resources Division-Game Management Section Regional office near Armuchee. The 337-acre Wildlife Management Area was originally a farming community and later developed into a privately-owned fish hatchery. Bought by the state in 1968, the hatchery was operational until 1979. Today, the 14 hatchery ponds are currently used to aid in the management of waterfowl and wildlife. The site also offers a 2.2-mile interpretive nature trail that encompasses both forested and wetland habitats. You may also contact Kim Kilgore, Arrowhead's Environmental Education Coordinator: 2592 Floyd Springs Road, NE
